This Springton Manor Farm maternity session floored me. On one side of the park, you have these absolutely gorgeous rolling hills, and on the other, a huge wide open meadow that just… ooof, perfection, just like my couple that night! Julie and Sean are absolutely the best people. We had such an easy going, relaxed portrait hour (and the gorgeous cloudy day didn’t hurt either!) Of course, anytime you bring dogs along, it makes for a happy Brey Photo, but their two black labs are to DIE for. I almost stole them.
Julie used the images with her pregnancy announcement to surprise Mom and Dad on Father’s Day— which, if you know me, you know just the thought of that makes me cry a little bit because how sweet is that?! I hope there’s a video somewhere of the reaction. I’ve been waiting patiently (SIKE) for this new mama and papa duo to share their news… so I could share it with you. Surprise!
I shot a good portion of these images in the dirt behind the grass, with Corona hair and I had a Superwoman facemask on the entire time which fogged up my glasses. Julie said I looked so pretty and said she wanted to take a picture of me. Uhmm, what?! Nicest thing ever. That’s just who Julie is, so you can’t blame me for being just absolutely obsessed with her and her little family!
Congratulations Julie & Sean— your little one is going to be the most beautiful thing!
PS. Julie’s linen dress is from Etsy, and it’s a DREAM. If you want more maternity session style inspo, head on over to my new style boards!
PPS. 2020 is just about booked up folks! If you miss me as much as I miss you, let me know! When I’m totally booked up for the fall, I don’t want to hear about how much you procrastinated! Slide into my DMs right over here!
